Missouri's Gabbert impresses Rivera

I honestly can not remember a draft where the top 5-8 prospects were so completely.....interchangeable within most mock drafts. Is that weird to anyone else. I know its because there is no clear #1. But apparently there is no clear 2-8 either.

it's because there are many positions at which the second best player is very close to the best... the talent drop off isn't very steep between best and second best in this draft really.

I blame the overwhelming lack of QB talent as 8 of the top 10 teams need one and obviously have more than one void to fill.

Honestly, make a team out of these rookies and stop to think if you have a solid team. I put it together and this is a pretty damned impressive draft, but there is no true number one.

Example:

Cb: Peterson, Prince, Nickle: J.Smith

FS: Moore

SS: Sucks

OLB: Akeem Ayers, Aldon Smith

ILB: Martez Wilson

DE: Da'Quan Bowers, Robert Quinn, JJ Watt

DT: Marcel Dareus, Nick Fairley

QB: Gabbert

RB: Ingram, D.Thomas

WR: Green, Jones, J.Baldwin/T.Smith

TE: Rudolph

T: Castonzo, Smith, Carimi

G: Pouncey, Pouncey

C: Pouncey
