Catching up on movies

I have a thing about that. Generally speaking, if I saw them when they were kids, I'll always see them as kids, no matter how old they get

I feel sorry for you then. That means when you look at this...

Eeeeeehhhh, no :nonod:

Ya see, I never saw those two when they were child stars. My first glimpses of them were as adults, so it's no problem. Actresses that I first saw when they were kids, that's where the mental block lies.

Not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing, mind you. It's just me.

I'm glad to hear you are able to enjoy those two then.

Although, on a completely separate note, if you haven't seen Leon the Professional, you should. It is a great movie.

I've been home from work for a few days this week taking care of my GF who had surgery, so we've been watching some movies:

Watched The Fighter yesterday. Loved it. Bale is incredible.

Also watched Exit Through the Gift Shop - great documentary about street art that centers on an amateur filmmaker's pursuit of famous street artists (Space Invader, Banksy, etc.) and how his obsession led to his own strange role in the culture. Highly recommended.

I thought I recommended this one but maybe I haven't. You're absolutely right -- it's an awesome film. It says a lot about what we consider to be fine art. Very interesting film, and trust me that you don't have to be into street art to enjoy it. This movie's about so much more than that.

Looked up video of the Sportscentury feature on Secretariat after watching the movie (he was #35, the highest non-human on the list).

From what I've read, the movie version tells the story pretty close to the truth. Honestly, it didn't really need embellishment.

I guess one day God just felt like making a racehorse.
