Where did I say Newton was only high on draft boards because he was black? You said Newton was better than Luck. You didn't provide any reasons other than the fact that Newton was black. I said you liked Newton because he was black. I have yet to see you give any other reason for liking him so how exactly was I wrong?

USC quarterbacks make me nervous.

All PAC-10 qb's make me nervous. 7 of the last 9 (not including Sanchez, i think it is still too early) PAC-10 qb's drafted in the first round have been busts. Only Rogers and Palmer have worked out. Some highlights include Harrington, Boller, Leaf. It may have been different back in the day (elway) but lately a PAC-10 qb hasn't been a high percentage pick.

Of course SEC qb's haven't fared all that well either (outside of Mannings).

There is a big risk with Cam. He has to be great and he has to end up elite. Anything else is practically a bust. All of the people that want him so badly see him as a franchise savior that will put the panthers on the map. There is a hell of a lot of risk in that. Especially with a new head coach that currently doesn't have a 2nd round pick. Rivera and Hurney have to absolutely nail this pick and get an immediate contributor.

It was in his signature, no doubt. Very late in the season, because I thought it was funny he was still touting him when there were clearly quite a few QB's better than him at that point in the season.

Good easy find, and his ass wont find me ever saying Moore was better than Vick or anyone else for that matter. He also had Pryor in his signature well into November. I'm sure once he is proven wrong he will disappear, thanks for removing his foolishness from this thread.
