Movies that make you cry

Not a movie, but the Futurerama episode Jurassic Bark.

Yeah, I won't give you crap for that. That one's sad, but the Futurama episode that actually made me misty-eyed was the one where Leela's parents are watching her and taking care of her as a child without her knowledge.

There about 3 episodes that are really sad in the series.

Probably my favorite cartoon.

obviously not a movie, but last night I was watching dateline and it was about a couple ole vets who run RAM, remote air missions, and they were doing a mission in a small town in Haiti post earthquake. Watching that and seeing those sick little kids, chokes me up everytime. Pretty sad in today's day that people live like that still.

Friday Night Lights-- Twice. When boobie miles is sobbing after tearing his knee yelling "what am i gunna do now?!?! i cant do anything else"...cause i tore my knee in HS and lost most my scholarships.

And when Tim Mcgraw goes on the field after they lose and puts his ring on his sons finger....gives me chills.

Toy Story 3--When andy is grown up and giving his toys away, i grew up with that movie (the first one came out when i was 8) and it made me miss my childhood

Forrest Gump--I was also 8 the first time i saw gump, I cried like a baby when bubba died. ugh. Then when he finds out he has a son, Tom Hanks is an amazing actor, and he actually asks if his son is stupid or smart....and hes crying when he finds out hes smart so he doesnt have to go through what he did.....it kills me everytime. Especially now as a father. amazing acting.

    • You know, there's something about this whole JAG thing that really just drives home the idea that to some folks, these players aren't real people, just names and stats.  Of course, it goes beyond sports. We're a sad, jaded species, us humans.
    • I hope we get no featured games, or only one if that's still a thing Don't like having to subscribe to a service just to see the panthers play a single game, i'm looking at you peacock Football is made for sunday afternoons Word
    • Yeah, it's just dumb. Everything is year to year. I never understood how anyone could stay engaged as a Kentucky fan or duke fan as duke became a one and done factory like Calipari made Kentucky. The thing I liked at about UNC is that we primarily focused on recruits likely to play multiple years. We'd have pur occasional one and done but most of our pros still played multiple years. And the days of the Stackhouses, Wallace, Jamison, Carter, etc. playing multiple years is just over. And now you have your role players entering the portal every year to test the waters elsewhere. I don't blame them for looking out for themselves but just personally speaking I'll run out of interest quickly trying to get to know a whole new roster year over year.
