And while it didn't make me cry, the scene where the German kills Adam Goldberg's character on the floor with a knife is a scene that I have trouble watching. The beach scene doesn't bother me near as much as that one does.

Was in the Army when that movie came out. Bunch of us went to the theater to watch it. Talk about a bunch of pissed off people. The whole Theater was screaming at the screen for the guy to kill him on the stairways. That to me is what made the next scene so worse.
