I'd really be suprised if Gabbert ended up being good, but you never know. If and to me that's a big "if" we draft I'd definately support him. Who can you really compare him too in the NFL? I honestly do know of anyone who's good that looked like him as a rookie. His production dropped when the star recievers left. You can look at ability on the chalkboard and that's a big plus, but what about when you're on the field. If you've played any sport you know there's a big difference from a workout(pro day) and game day. When the pressure is on he doesn't look like the confident QB.

i feel the same way about cam that you do about Gabbert pretty much. I think they both have a chance to be great though. Newton scares me with his baggage, that's why I favor gabbert. I just want a QB.

we only know what Jay Gruden thinks so far:

that's all we've had publicly from a Gruden as far as I can tell.
