Racial bias nothing more, nothing less. I'm pretty sure Panthers scouts have already discovered this.

I find physically fighting and underage drinking more serious than buying a stolen laptop.

what? who in the name of god didn't get in to fights or drink underage?

i've literally been drukn for the last 6 years of my life im not sure how im still alive

To be honest, I really don't give a rats ass about character concerns from anyone which includes Newton, Gabbert, Peterson, etc... I mean if they can play football and give the team a legitimate shot at winning a championship I couldn't give two shits about them getting hammered on friday as long as he brings his A+ game on Sunday.

To be honest, I really don't give a rats ass about character concerns from anyone which includes Newton, Gabbert, Peterson, etc... I mean if they can play football and give the team a legitimate shot at winning a championship I couldn't give two poos about them getting hammered on friday as long as he brings his A+ game on Sunday.

Again though, that's not the point of the thread. I'm just asking why it took a guy on a message board (a message board GOD mind you) to get this story out there when not one person in this thread has said they'd heard of this before now. All of these supposed draft gurus like Todd McShay have been blathering about Gabbert and this has never even been hinted at. Did none of these guys know about this? If not, what does it say about just how well they are at doing their homework? And if they did know about it, why has nobody brought this up anywhere?

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
