so we've got Lafell - Peterson, Beason - Newton, and now Gross - Dareus?

Sounds like players are as split as the Huddle - and hell, as split as all the experts.

I do think it is kind of funny though, that all three want players at their respective, competing positions.

Ahem. Of course an O-lineman isn't going to say he wants a QB even if he really does want him. It would be awkward if he was like "Hell yeah we need a QB!" And then we picked PP. Then he would have to jump through hoops with the press. To prove to Gantt that Clausen was his guy all along and to prove to Clausen he has his back.

Okay back to reality.

He was probably just being honest and Dareus would be a great fit.

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
