The most kick ass movie of the year...

Looks like typical American humor which usually isn't funny.

It is for most Americans.

And I will see this movie for Kenny Powers! “Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism."

I can go to this type of movie and laugh and appreciate it for what it is. Just like I can go into a high brow drama and do the same. I think what makes you a mature patron of movies is appreciating all types for what they are, not restricting yourself to only the upper crust of drama and comedy. Sometimes you need tits and fart jokes.

I can't even appreciate it for what it is. "Stoner" comedies haven't been funny since Cheech & Chong in the '70s. And I will never understand why people like Danny McBride. He's got the same schtick in every goddamned role (stupid, conceited asshole with no redeeming qualities...Nice range you've got there, Danny). Sure I can see a very hot Natalie Portman, but I can also see a very lezzie Natalie Portman in Black Swan in the privacy of my home in BluRay quality without seeing Danny McBrides fugly visage 20 feet tall or listen to 90 minutes worth of bad medieval puns. Which do you think wins out?

...Sometimes, Zod...I don't think I know who you are anymore.

Even though I will see this movie, I agree with almost every part of this. That being said, Eastbound and Down is arguably the funniest TV show of all time, and for that, McBride has a pass from me.

But yeah, stoner humor is really annoying.

had their been cell phone cameras when i was rolling back in the day, that alone would have been the template for all stoner movies going forward.

but alas, it's a collection of legendary stories and events that can only be shared via a message board, facebook or in person.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
