“The players expressed their hope that mediation under court oversight will begin immediately.”

In contrast, the NFL wants to resume collective bargaining with George Cohen, director of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service in D.C.

They can't even agree on which method to use to come to an agreement!

But I hope they reach one!!!! :D

Brady just started construction on a 22,000 square foot, 8 bedroom home in California.

Just to give you an idea how big that is, the football is 160 feet wide from sideline to sideline so imagine a house the size of a football field sideline to sideline and from the goal line out past the 45 yard line. That's how big Brady's house is. (that is not the footprint of course, but the equivalent of how much space he will have.)

you can't have mediation without a union to negotiate with... morons.

Sure they can even the judge said so. If the NFL agrees not to hold it against them then they can negotiate.

As for the Venue, the Owners wanted to keep it in mediation the entire time. I hope it goes before the judge where she has actual power which is what the owners don't want I think.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
