Espn on 360

Us it for the first time last night. As someone without cable tv I thought it was great. There are 4 or 5 different streams to choose from. Was I watching a regular espn channel or was it something only for xbox? Do they air actual games on it?

Yes, often times the games that are on 360 are being televised on ESPN or ESPN2 at the same time. I watch NBA games on it occassionaly. It's great if you don't have cable. I have a friend that basically just watches ESPN and Netflix on his Xbox. Hornets-Mavericks and Phillies-National are on tonight, and they are both on TV as well. You'll just have to get used to the annoying ESPN commercials that run over and over. I think I can recite the entire network passwork from the Matt Ryan and Josh Elliott commercial.

im slowing moving towards streaming the web via my tv. have to get the daddy tv first. but i have one tv i do the same with rabbit ears for hd. I have an old school one on the house and my hook that up to see the reception i get from other tv markets.

the thing about cable, there is simply not enough time in the day to watch that many channels, even if you dvr, which i don't like.

    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
