Aj Green Has a big chance to be the pick?

I Use there method of taking the best player in that 2007 draft. They could of went Brady Quinn but they didnt they just took the best player at number 2 witch was a WR and they are glade they took him you better believe. But what i really mean by saying that was we get a guy like AJ Green Add him to a decent WR Corp with Smitty, Gettis and lafell. He will be a good deep catching WR for us in our new attack offense. We have Smith Getting older and his last year as a panther will probably be this year if they dont trade him. We wouldnt have to worry about replacing him because we will have AJ .. We give Clausen another shot in this offense with the addition of AJ and see how productive he can be. If he does not so well we probably crack the top 10 next year and maybe have an option to get a new QB in a better Quarterback draft class. It also give us some way to trade down to maybe the Bengals at 4 and they steal newton from the bills and we pick up a second for this year and take Green.

I know I'm just busting your balls! I would love to have AJ Green, but I've watched every single snap for the panthers last year, and there's no way I can endorse anything with Clausen as our starting QB. Just can't!

If we were to trade down to the number 4 overall pick witch is the Bengals and pick up the bengals second round pick we will be picking at the 35 overall pick and if Mallett isnt taking in the 1 round. He will have a big chance been there at 35. The question would be does Carolina want him. Maybe And he would fit well in that new deep threat offense.

AJ green has a huge chance to be the pick April 28. The reason why is because the Panthers could take the lions approach witch really want be that bad. We take a really good Reciever this year who can put up some pretty good numbers and he will have Smitty on the other side of him, add a couple more offensive weapons maybe another TE and OL. We can see how productive Jimmy Clausen can be with him and Smitty in our new attack offense stretching the field. If it dont workout with clausen maybe we can squezze our way in the top 10 next year and hope we can get a new Quarterback. And If AJ green was to work out he will be a great deep threat down the field and give opposing Corners hell the next 10 to 12 years.

If we pick Green instead of a Qb, he will be doing it without Smitty. Smitty knows what it appears you don't. Clausen will not be effective unless things change significantly. While I wouldn't give up on him yet, I wouldn't be counting on him to be the one either.

As for me I don't think anyone we get next year will be better than Newton will be with a year under his belt. Might as well bite the bullet now than keep putting things off hoping they get better next year or further down the road.

As this point I have more faith in Moore resurrecting his career than Clausen performing at a high level.

Mallett has no escapability and is a statue. He will not be able to find receivers laying on his back. Maybe sitting back there standing still works in college but teams will blitz him mercilessly in the NFL. I liked Buerelein but he took a ton of sacks for us and that was after years of experience. I am afraid that Mallett isn't athletic enough to star in the NFL as a QB and it will take years for him to develop.

The reason people give for not picking PP is that a corner doesn't affect enough plays (which I disagree with). So how does a WR with no one to throw to him, affect enough plays to be #1 pick. For that matter, how does a slightly above average DT either? I'm afraid if we pick Green or Dareus the games will be just as boring as when Fox was here.

Next yrs draft has 3 QB's that will be better than any QB in this draft as a prospect.

They could either get Green and a TE now for future QB(or VET) or draft PP or Darius and try to build a Ravens type defense instead...

or draft Cam Newton, hope he works out because if not Offense will be terrible and defense not much better

I believe it is time to fire your proof-reader...

I understand were you are coming from and it can be true. It also will give us and insight on Clausen and has he developed from last year to this year. But to be honest there is a saying the eye in the sky dont lie and what Clausen already haves on tape maybe the breaking point on him with our team. If we Take Cam Newton witch i have no problem at all with. His future with us could very well be done. But when i think about it more it will start a very good Quarterback competition in trainning camp thats if Clausen stick around witch will more then likely happen. Then we can really see what Clausen and Cam Newton is about. But it always goes back to what Rivera and Hurney wants and that could be to with AJ Green and see will Clausen mess this opportunity up.

This is actually a horrible idea, especially citing the Lions as the model to follow. The Lions missed on Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, and others before they got Calvin Johnson and it doesn't matter how many WRs you pile up, it you don't have a QB to get it to them long-term no one is going to succeed and people lose jobs anyway.
