I'm pleased. I don't feel like I've been left hanging. Seeing Arya get her first kill was cool, and I enjoy her story. I would like to see her kill Walter Frey(sp), but I haven't read the books so that's complete speculation.

My guess is Balon goes down

MISSED

Possibly, but probably not PW with Joff (but Melisandre did have the Gendry scene - so that might need to get wrapped)

MISSED - but up for debate since (not Joff, Gendry).

They have to reveal Ramsay (IMO) - and Theon has to look like crap.

MADE (but not a stretch on my part)

I thought Lady Stoneheart would be there, but starting to doubt it.

MADE (again, not a stretch)

My guess for final scene is Jorah's exile - but no clue honestly

MISSED completely.

I suck at predicting, which is fine with me ;)

Your thoughts?

My predictions:

Yara's scene comes after Balon has a fall... Basically she's taking command of the Ironborn until there can be a Kingsmoot...

Sam and Gilly make it back to Castle Black, after running into Bran and Co. and scaring the living poo out of them... Sam gets them through the Black Gate... I dunno if Coldhands comes into play this season. He might be like Jojen and Meera, and introduced a little later on that in the books. I also think Sam and Gilly arrive BEFORE the assault on the wall... which is a difference from the books... and just in time for Jon to get back too... I even think we'll see the wildling masses approaching, although not the battle itself... except maybe an initial assault featuring Ygritte and her demise...

Theon's scene is pretty much continued torture, and I think Ramsay will fill him in on the RW, causing further internal conflict in his mind...

Sansa/Tyrion/Cersei/Joffrey/Tywin will be pretty much quiet I think... other than news from the RW reaching KL and wedding planning of their own...

Jaime makes it to KL The preview seems to indicate this... I think his appearance will be brief, though... They will possibly play out the scene between Loras and Brienne, and have Jamie intervene... sending Brienne to the dungeons...

We'll probably get some dialogue between the Hound and Arya, and they'll build the relationship between them a bit... They'll decide on heading towards the Eyrie...

I think Stannis will agree with Mel to sacrifice Gendry, but Davos will intervene and either advise against it, and eventually smuggle Gendry out of harm's way...

We'll probably get brief glimpses of Varys, LF, and Pycelle...

I think the final scene will be Beric, Thoros, and Co. finding Cat's body, and bringing her back via Beric's sacrifice... Her eyes open and she takes a hissy breath/roll to credits...

I think that pretty much covers and ties up most people's story lines for this season...

Great prediction - it killed mine.

    • Have to stop making everything about BY. They will and have been bringing in players to improve the TEAM, not just Bryce Young. Which is something they should have done BEFORE bringing in a rookie QB. Even Metchie is a generally good pickup at a position of need. He just happens to have played with BY in college. And that doesn't hurt his chances or the team's. Morgan just addressed the biggest areas of need on the team via free agency so they won't be reaching for a position of need in the draft. He's legit picking the best player available for the TEAM in the draft. The o-line was in shambles in 2023. He addressed it in 2024. The d-line was in shambles in 2024. He addressed it in 2025. The pass rush and linebackers were in shambles in 2025. He's addressed it in 2026. Unfortunately good young WRs don't hit the FA market, so can't just throw money at them. You have to draft them. I wonder what some would be saying if they'd spent the amount of cap on the offense that they spent on the defense in 2025 and 2026 - and then used both first round draft picks on defense. Would that have been better in your eyes? No. You would be complaining that the defense is too young to compete and more vets weren't brought in because they're trying to prop up BY. This team should be talented enough now to make some noise in the South. If BY is actually holding them back, then QB will be addressed in 2027. They benched him 2 games into their tenure and you think they're tied to his success. No. That doesn't compute. They're tied to the team's success. BY could throw for 5000 yards and if they're 4 - 13, head's will roll.  TLDR: Their decisions aren't driven by making BY look good. They're trying to improve the team and win games. Period.
    • I still firmly believe that Tepper still has his mandate of make Bryce work or get fired and because of that, it doesn't matter how badly he does... He'll get a long term deal in the 40-50m range and set back this franchise for a decade. Then the Teppers will have another QB infatuation and maybe they get it right then.
