Top 100 players of 2011 on NFLN (8pm)

I don't look too deeply into this list. When they discuss the order of the list on NFL Network they forget what the list is even about. Is it the best 100 players in the league right now, the best for last season, on stats, toughness, smarts, etc...

There are so many opinions out there on who's the best, there could be hundreds of list put together. Since the players themselves voted for this thing, I think the list is a little biased.

Anyway, it is just good to have your name on the list, rather than look at the order. In the end it is just another list. But Beason in the 90's? A travesty..

getting mad about the list is pointless. It wasn't an exact science making it and when you get to the top 100 that's around what like the top 3-4%?

Just be glad they are up there at all. There is something that is just so wrong about waiting on the list then getting pissed off over something so stupid. Stop being so cynical.

I think this whole list is misleading. The players were asked to pick their top 20 players in the league. This list comes from a result of who was picked(and spot picked) in that top 20..I think they did it that way to make it more controversial.

makes me lmao that willis and beason are idenctical, yet beason is 72 spots behind. joke of a list. and Arian Foster? Really? 1 good year and he's already better than MJD, Peterson, Etc. hahahahahahah i love this list.

the list is based on 2010 that projects to 2011. So one good year in 2010 is all it takes. He earned it.

Beason isn't identical to Willis. Willis's physical tools are better.

    • Names I'd keep an eye on... Coby White,  Jalen Suggs, Amen Thompson  and Stephen Castle...  3 teams except Orlando has checked on Melo before and rumblings of sours getting rid of fox too. I'd think they think Melo and Wemby would make them nuclear out west.
    • Well he somehow had 12 preseason carries for not playing. He also has 20 carries in the regular season, not three. He has actually played in about 7% of the offensive snaps for this regular season(33% of the special teams snaps). This isn't stuff you have to make up, these are very easily referenced statistics, man.
    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
