1 decision away from a lost season...

Andrew Luck doesn't want to be a Panther. Cam does and IS.

Cause he could be a Panther right now if he wanted.

I can't believe people actually believe this crap. There probably was plenty of factors that went into him staying:

Chance at NCAA Championship

Still having 2 more years of eligibility.

Getting a degree (means something to some people and according to Stanford people on message boards before he even declared his decision, he always hinted he wanted his degree first before joining NFL. Even before he knew what team it would be. That was their argument on why they though Luck was staying another year.)

A lockout that could void a whole season

Better for his career to get more experience in at college.

Dude is going to be rich no matter what. He already is from his family.

There is so many reasons he could of stayed. Instead butt hurt Panther fans think it was cause of the Panthers.

So here we are, one court ruling away from a lost season.

Chances are good that the appeal will be denied, and free agency and the NFL season will begin sometime in July or as soon as the circuit court rules on the June hearing. If this is the case, there will be time for a full camp and preseason. Great news especially for our young team.

But if the appeal is upheld, and the lockout is allowed, I don't see how there will be a full football season this year, if any at all. The Owners are poised to lockout the players for as long as they need to. The players are not as prepared, but will not cave before the start of the season.

So what happens if there is no camp. No preseason. No practices. What happens if the Panthers are thrown into the season with 3 days to prepare for the first game in a 12 game season?

In short, we are god awful. I mean, we would make last season's team look Superbowl caliber.

- completely new coaching staff/scheme/terminology/philosophy/playbook

- no seasoned veteran QB

In short, we are fugged. Think about going against Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and Atlanta who are all at the very least working within the same schemes and playbooks as seasons past with QB's well versed in those schemes.

I can't stress to you how absolutely god awful we will be. Think carefully on the Panthers worst year, then imagine that team but about half as good.

Babys?

Anyway, according to both Sutton and Gerald Alexander it's a tactic, I asked them both on twitter and both said yes.

Predictive text failed me.

What makes them more in the know than goodell. Its one side of the story if you ask me.

I couldn't agree more about this.

In essence, Jerry Richardson is holding his own team and it's fans hostage for a better CBA. Given what he did to this team last year, I don't hold out much hope.

But :cam: is a pretty new car that Jerry bought to say he'll never wack us like that again. Until the next time..

So Jerry, If your reading.. The fans are watching what you do, not what you say.

You mean other than which side they're on? Who they have access to?

I'm saying why should I trust a side that has filed anti-trust suites not to demand everything they want after the owners do not have any leverage. I really don't trust either side but the players union is in the business of making money and that's a good way of doing it. Everyone knows the draft and the cap is for the owners not the players.
