It might also be that there is nothing else to talk about, he’s the number one pick hence he’s the main target for speculation from the pundits. If and when the lockout is lifted I’m sure we will here less about him from the major talking heads.

Why bring a mentor who was not shy about saying he didn't want to mentor anyone?

Adding to that, he is notorious for ignoring fundamentals and the basics of being a QB (reading defenses, setting your feet, don't throw across your body, etc).

We need our mentor to:

A: Be able to play

B: Want to mentor

C: Teach the fundamentals and nuances to our RB converting to QB

D: Not embarrass this franchise on or off the field

You have to be very careful bringing in competition for Cam. Last time he faced competition, he ran away instead of trying to overcome it. He couldn't beat out Brantley.
