Can someone shed some light on this idea that Newton is dumb?

Recommended Posts

Is it true that 90% of black people act like idiots? yes. Is it true that 95% of white people cant jump? yes. Is it true that illegal Hispanics get wrongfully treated because the owner can take advantage of them? yes. Is it true that settlers forcefully moved the Cherokee Indians from their homes in Appalachia to Oklahoma and gave them poo for it? yes. Everyone Happy now?

What in the fug does all this have to do with the topic of Swag Newton being dumb?! Not a damn thing.

The major questions around his intellingence are probably related to:

1. Getting caught cheating multiple time....not that big of a deal to me.

What exactly is your agenda in continuing to promulgate this unfounded accusation as if it were a known fact?

Because in the many weeks I've been lurking here, you've bit hard onto this myth like a lunker on a spinner and you've swallowed that sucker all the way down to your gut.

Some of you guys don't realize how stupid you sound. "Sure you were beaten, whipped, enslaved, hung, lynched, used by the US Health Department for scientific experiments on fatal diseases against you will or knowledge, tarred and feathered, and oppressed. But hey, native Americans had it bad to so stop bitching"

It is like someone telling the children of a murder victim "Hey sure your mom was murdered but this other family I know had their mom and dad murdered... so what are you so upset about?" :nonod:

You're dumb ass just proved the whole point of the argument. It's the people like you that say Cam is dumb just because he's black

In an age where the most powerful man in USA is a black man, I am not sure that I agree with your opinion, but that's cool.

You think the President is the most powerful man in the US?!!! :out:

You're oblivious. I dont even think you know what we're talking about. Go back a few pages and actually READ what was written so that you can respond in context.

If you're going to be a MORON, at least be an informed one. At least people would respect what you're saying.

I'd be willing to wager 10% of it is based on his race alone .. yes i said it .. " They be hatin cause he be black mmhm "

Oh its way more than 10%....I'll say its about 60%...What does buying a stolen lap top has to do with his intelligence?

Ok... this really isnt about who was treated worse... blacks or Native Americans. If you go back and read what I wrote... Im trying to lay out the reasons that Cam Newton is so heavily scrutinized. Everything that I wrote was actually relevant to the question that was asked.

This other stuff is totally off topic. I dont mind going back and forth... but its not productive in regards to the original question.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
