What would training camp be like this year?

Lets say the players and owners get their s#$$ together in a timely fashion. What do you think the addition of Cam Newton will do to the training camp environment? Lots of new people? Or do you think the bandwagon is empty after a 2-14 season?

I think it would be a good vibe. The players will just be relieved and glad to be back on the field and the addition of Cam and all the young blood will help create a lively atmosphere.

New coaches, new players, new contract and lots of hope for the future.

This could only increase attendance although I don't believe by much. I do think however that the casual fan in attendance would be more inclined to follow Cam around training camp like people follow golfers at tournaments, then to just sit back and enjoy all training camp has to offer.

No more than last year for the AE and Clausen bandwagons.

newton's got more hype than both of those put together.

there will be some days that have bigger crowds than normal, but i doubt most days you would be able to tell a difference.

we'll probably have more press come around, though.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
