MINNEAPOLIS -- Ricky Rubio is coming to Minnesota after all.

The Spanish point guard has agreed to join the Timberwolves next season, ending a drawn-out, delicate, two-year negotiation with the team that had many league observers believing he did not want to play in Minnesota.

A person with knowledge of the agreement confirmed to The Associated Press on Wednesday night that Rubio will be here next season, given the woebegone Timberwolves a much-needed dose of good news. The person requested anonymity because neither Rubio nor the Timberwolves planned to make an official announcement while he continues to play for Regal Barcelona in the Spanish league playoffs.

Kevin Love is a unique player that can give you a double double nightly. Michael Beasley will be entering his 4th year next season and this far his stats have went from 14ppg to 20 ppg, he could be ready for a breakout seasons.

Add Rubio and they might surprise people, especially if Wayne Ellington and Johnny Flynn step up. The team has a lot of young guys who may or may not have talent. Hard to tell.

Would you really call someone from Spain a ****? Isn't that more for people with the native American heritage, more native people of the south and central Americas and/or mixed?

Spain is in Western Europe and they have the same history other white people do with monarchies and great artists (leonardo da vinci). They're not running across borders or known for cheap labor.

Spain even has neo-nazis.

      They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.

      I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.

      This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
