When all is said and done....

Recommended Posts

When all this CBA mess is done and a deal is in place.

What will the players do?

shorten their lives for a few million while they wait for the people who "take the risk" of owning an nfl team to opt out of the new deal, lockout the players and act like the players are on strike

Players like what is going on with the union and like Smith. They live in a competitive world where everything is about being aggressive, winning and losing, and you take no prisoners. They aren't businessmen who are used to settling and win/win propositions. In their world you either win or lose and to the winner goes the spoils.

The like that Smith is trying to stick it to the owners. He is exactly what they want and who they voted for before this got started.

I just hate his facial expressions and some of the smart ass comments he makes at press conferences. Other than that, he is doing what the players hired him to do. But his damned facial expressions remind me of this guy sometimes

I'm curious, did you debate whether to use an ellipsis or a comma at the end of this corny post?

    • I think you should see the OP for pretty big reasons why that is a completely incorrect take given this is a Dave Canales team.
    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
