Damn. I was about 8 or 9 years old when this was going on. I didn't catch these games, but I knew Carolina was playing the Packers to go to the superbowl.

I couldn't even watch the game I wanted them to win so bad.

it blows my mind how into it the crowd was during that cowboys game - we were as frenzied as heinz or soldier field in prime. just goes to show what winning playoff games will do for a franchise.

its also weird to see john kasay as a fresh-faced kid out there, clutch as ever.

anyway....imo, the crowd and the team reflects the coach's personality. fans have become apathetic because we had an apathetic coach for so long.

Good times. I remember watching when Chad Cota intercepted the Kordell Stewart pass in the endzone to preserve a win and to get a home playoff game. Proud to say I have been a Panther fan since day one.

The sheer agony in John Madden's voice that the almighty Cowgirls are about to get knocked out of the playoff's to the "lowly" Panthers in clip 3 is absolute music to my ears.

Didn't see that game, but that alone shows me how special it was to this fanbase.
