Amsterdam in the Morning!

Recommended Posts

late bump.

Amsterdam is a great city, definitely a stop one needs to take traveling around Europe. Stay for more than a week and you probably take at least a year off your life expectancy. Checked out the Anne Frank house, Heineken brewery, took a canal tour, and spent my nights walking the Red Light District and binge drinking in bars.

As for the coffee shops, the first I stumbled upon was called "Coffee Shop Ben" (my name) so I had to stop in and ended up purchasing a gram of Ben's Finest. It was only fitting. After that I picked up some amnesia haze, which was listed under the potent section of a menu and was described as a psychedelic high. That description was spot on! I have never experienced a high like that. Throughout the rest of the trip I smoked some white widow, strawberry cough, and some other household strains.

Never had the guts to purchase a broad in the district, they were beautiful for the most part though. I talked with a couple for a while just joking around but they wanted their fifty euros, understandable. Kind of disappointed I don't have a better story for my men of the Huddle!

whoever wants to go, I'm down to plan a trip.. I prefer to plan things like this far ahead. Should be enough time to save the dough and cover all areas. You now have previous experience with the trip. if YMIAD still lives there, we have another source..

I have a few friends that should be down..

I don't know though, boo going? that could be trouble.

I think I should work on getting to Charlotte for my first Panther game at BOA this season and graduating from college in the spring, but I'm still down to make it happen :D

We really should start planning a nice trip. I think I'd be the youngin of the group but have no issues with that. I'll bring in the young tail for biscuit to analyze.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
