thanks buddy :)

biscuit mentioned taking someone to the dealership with me to make sure they won't rip me off since I don't know poo about cars.

Also, I can't be stealing cars with all my outstanding warrants ;)

le sigh.

But having a GTA will give you street cred when they finally catch you and lock you up.

Budget is cheap and so is Dollar. The company I do work for has a corporate account with Enterprise and I get to use it when I want. They have about 35 12 seater Club Vans they use for Van pools and if I get one of those, it doesn't cost me a thing as long as I get it back within 5 days of picking it up.

In fact, that's what the Cali Cat Pack is gonna use to go to the Arizona game this year providing there is fotball.

Corporate accounts.

Exactly. I know my company has a contract with Hertz gold, and I think they are mostly geared towards the business travelers who aren't paying out of their pockets anyway.

I have had good experiences with Enterprise in the past for personal use. And hey, they pick you up.

Okay, so things have worked out better than expected.

Went to drop off my car at the Nissan Dealership this morning and they gave me a loaner fooo freeeee. The loaner is way better than my car, a definite upgrade, so Im ballin fo free. brand new 2011 altima, touch start. pretty cool.

He just called me about my car. I pretty much managed to demolish my back axle and bent the poo out of it, which explains why my back tire is wobbly as poo. He said it was extremely dangerous driving on it and he can't believe I wasn't injured when I wrecked it based on the amount of damage to the axle.

So, he told me he has to order the part and it will probably be over the weekend, but I can keep the loaner for free over the wknd. The estimate is about $950, for an axle, thats pretty fugin good.

Overall, I am not as upset as I was.

At first I was like

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
