whats WGN?

on a related note...TWC is offering me a deal I don't think I can pass up. I currently pay them ~40 for RR lite and another 105 goes to Dtv. TWC is offering to pay my contract termination fee with Dtv and then give me 7 Mbps RR with digital cable for 70. They are also going to lock the price in for 2 yrs, and there is no contract. I think its a no brainer.

if you feel like dealing with them for 2 years, go for it. after that, they are going to jack your rate up like a motherf**ker.. 24 month promotions will lock your rate in with anyone.

i know how they work. the same as Dtv. i was on a promotion, and then the price doubled. TWC and dish are my only options. at least TWC has the panthers in HD at no extra charge. with Dtv i'd have to get the ticket, and then pay extra for the hd on top of that. it would be more than 400 for the season.

it rained at my house last night. my Dtv tiled out.

why were you only getting half of what you pay for PanthaSan? were you not running through a box?

DirecTV or Dish network? WHen I had directv the only time i lost reception was during a very hard rain, like a downpour. Other than that, no problems.

That said, now I have uverse and its great.

Yes, we had tv in 4 rooms. I would call customer service and they would "reset" my box but it only worked for a few hours. I would get a message like "sorry but ANP is currently unavailable". It got really out of hand and we would have repairmen come out and find that a neigbor's sprinkler system flooded the box or this or that.

I even disconnected the boxes in the other 3 rooms and no luck.

Turns out that the signal get drastically degraded in out area and can't keep up with all the digital boxes and RR taxing the band width.

directv. it isn't enough that it makes me mad, but it does happen.

i'm gonna see how it goes. i may be with twc just long enough to get another promotion from directv. they don't budge on price after the promotional period. at least not for me. i just checked for U-verse in my area and it still isn't available.
