Not Guilty

Just because someone is indicted doesn't mean they are guilty. I watched a good bit of this on HLN and I am not so sure the jury got it wrong.

Let the hate rain down on me now ;)

Proof beyond a reasonable doubt is a high standard...as it should be.

The jurors probably believe she might be guilty...but the prosecutor did not prove it [beyond a reasonable doubt]. That is different from public opinion.

The only good thing to come from this verdict is watching Nancy Grace's head explode on live TV. I can't stand that lady for some reason.

I've served on a jury in a murder trial.

If the jury pool had a minimum IQ requirement, probably close to half of my fellow jurors would never have made it. And I seriously doubt that trial was unique in that regard.

This is one of the things I really hate about the justice system.

What a bunch of know it all's. Were you in the court room everyday listening and examining evidence? The jurors weren't hung, they all voted not guilty. I'm imagine they had good reason.

I served on a federal jury in December. Everyone was very intelligent, well dressed and most seemed rather successful.
