The most interesting part to me:

We have our doubts that any rookie quarterback in this class can be truly successful this year, but Newton easily has the best chance.

He has the most talent and a game that’s hard to prepare for. He’s also seems to be taking the right approach this offseason.

Obviously not written by Florio.

I like the fact you keep hearing that his entourage consist of his family. Unlike Vick, who before the dog murdering, had like 30 people in his and he dosent seem immature and suicidal like Oh Vince Young. I guess we will just have to wait and see if he has a problem with the purple drank.

Uh... Your line about VY was a little distasteful...

And as far the the purple drank... If you're referring to alcohol, Cam doesn't drink.

Keep it classy!

If their was a HoF for interviewing Cam would already be a shoe-in. I sure hope this talk helps him walk the walk. It's really encouraging. If he can pull a Rothlisburger there is no reason we can't be competitive and follow the 04 steelers, 08 ravens, or 09 jets model. All those teams were in the AFC championship. That's a big ol' IF though.

    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
    • Good luck to Burns. He’s fine as a third pairing defensemen but Rod is too stubborn to do that.
