Forbes: Panthers are 17th most valuable sports franchise in the world

the big kicker is when Jerry's stadium gets old......he better win a lot more the next 15 years. Football won't be a new show in town.

Remember the Bruton Smith saga. Trust me, it won't matter when the stadium gets older because the city of Charlotte will build him a new one if he can't raise the money again through PSLs. This is how most teams do it anyway.

what the fug does it matter without championships?

good for you JR you can do business set up for you so easily with PSLs, excellent penny saving strategics but let's see the trophies now thanks...that is the point isn't it?

And then Jerry gets bumped way down the forbes ranking

Ask NJPanthers12.

bahahahahaa too funny man. You are some comedian repeating the same stuff over and over again. There is nothing I hope more than for him to be right and you to look like a complete jackass. Go sit in the basement of your mom's house and play your xbox live and keep refreshing all your pages on your different forums.

If we weren't valuable, what would warrant us staying in Charlotte?

Why? Because he gets another free stadium? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the hating on Jerry is getting old. If everyone hates Jerry so much and he is such a tight azz, doesn't want to win, and all he cares about is money - why don't you just pick a new team?

a Championship.

We have loyal enough fans to keep us in Charlotte for a while, evident by PSLs and the not too recent lingering of the SB appearance. But what we need to truly ground this team into Charlotte and NFL history is a super bowl title.

No amount of great business moves will secure loyalty from fans like a championship would IMO.

Yes, but that wasn't the point. You were asking what the point of being valuable was, and I told you. Every team isn't going to win a championship you know, and we may never do it. I sure as hell hope we do, but nothing is guaranteed.

I think BOA stadium is great. I'd be very disappointed if we were to ever move facilities.

The only place we'd really have room for a new stadium would be in SC somewhere. Most of Meck. County is developed. I doubt there is a tract of land big enough for a stadium and all the infrastructure that has to go around one...except the old Charlotte Coliseum area.

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
