Weird....all my older friends who turned 25 a couple years ago said theirs went down.

If that sh*t doesn't go down, Im never going off my parent's car insurance.

it could also depend on what insurance company you have too. I didn't have any tickets or claims when I turned 25...so why mine didn't go down, who knows. How high is yours now?

Probably will be switching companies. My parents have Travelers and I don't know if I can afford to be on there by myself. Last time I got a quote was last year and it was a pretty ridiculous monthly amount.

I have a good driving record and I have an SUV. Idk.

Most likely will just get like 5 billion quotes and go with whatever is cheapest.

Edit: my bad JLD, lets get back to the old people and COD talk.

It's based on driving experience, not age in anyway. Also the type of car you have doesn't matter for liability, your liability insurance will be the same if you're driving a 2011 Lamborghini or an 83 Datsun hatchback. Full coverage is where the type of car matters.
