I called that Gettis was gonna be our #2 before TC was even out... So, I'm gonna go ahead and call this - Burney WILL make this roster. Very likely the Nickel, at the very least the 4th corner...

Anybody know if Craig Cooper from Miami has signed anywhere? I'm telling you, he didn't put up good numbers, but the guy was fast as sh*t on the field and is gonna be good in the league. Not that we need help at RB, but it never hurts to look.

One thing I can tell you, Darvin Adams in his first two years at Auburn was VERY good on special teams covering kicks and punts.

Add to that the fact that he is a precise route runner and has excellent hands, he could be good, valuable depth for the Panthers.

Unfortunately, he also is skilled at dropping passes that are right in his hands.

He is very inconsistent.

I think I've seen more highlights of Davins drops than his catches..

All I can say is that I have been at all of his games and the reason his drops were so shocking is because he caught the ball so damned well.

If by "inconsistent" you mean having caught 112 passes in two years, 17 TDs, being the go-to receiver to get you that 1st down or red-zone TD, and dropping maybe six or seven passes in those two years then, yes, I guess by that definition he is "inconsistent".

There's not a single time in the last two years that I can remember when we needed a CLUTCH first down that he didn't catch it when it was put in his hands.
