Matt Moore Most Likely Gone

It's good to see that some people actually value Moore instead of being blinded by their hate for me...it gives me hope for this board.

Moore's situation was unfortunate. He was sacrificed on the altar of a lame duck coach, and a lockout-oriented owner and front office. He's not a bad QB. He's not a championship caliber QB... but he's not a bad QB.

As far as your continued posting here... I knew you'll stay, because your peeps will keep you here. Even though it is a case of people who pity the village idiot, and hope he stays around for laughs.

11:00 a.m.: On his way out of stadium, Matt Moore sounded like he's on way out for good. Said he came to see the trainers. "Said hello, and goodbye." Moore did not have a playbook and said he didn't know what the other players were doing at stadium while he was in there.

sad, Matt Moore is 7-6 as a NFL starter.....and looked at as a #3 for other teams.

Clausen is our #2 who some think should be #1 when the season starts. :frown2:

He was made a contract offer though (when the RFA rules were in effect).

Not convinced he won't ultimately wind up here after checking out other options. Could depend on whether the outside interest in him is really legit.

Yeah, from a football perspective, it makes sense for Moore to stay. But from a business perspective, Jimmy makes more sense (he's cheaper).

If anything, this signals a green light for Cam to be the starter between game 1 to game 3 regular season.

Nor do I consider him the best option at this point in time.

Miami could be good for him, he'd probably walk in as the #2 QB and he's likely to get a few starts next season.

Also, he's got some good stats and some wins under his belt. I don't know why a team like Arizona would trade to get Kevin Kolb when a similar QB like Matt Moore is available.

Either way there's no room for him on the Panthers.
