he does seem like he has a pretty big ego. Honestly the whole rogers situation with the redskins seems to be very similar to the marshall situation with us. he thinks he is better than he really is and wants a ridiculous contract for his services.

I'd still take him at a reasonable price though.

49ers might be able to spend a little more, they certainly haven't done much this offseason. They also may be perceived as more of a "win now" opportunity than the Panthers, though I would dispute that.

Yeah we do need to persuade him to stay on the east coast. Not sure where he is from but I bet you we are closer to home considering he went to Auburn. Who knows, that might be a factor.

It might be hard for us to snag him up especially from the Cowboys if they are really in the running and the 49ers. We have less money and can only give him so much to come here. I kind of wish we would just trade for Asante Samuels at the right price but some people are saying that will be a huge cap hit. But Adam schefter has been saying he wont account for nothing but 5 million.

personally, i wouldnt mind seeing Samuel in Carolina either, but i just threw in the Cowboys as someone i think will be interested, i havent heard anything that said they are interested (lately), but they need secondary help and there were rumors that if Nnamdi came that Newman would move to safety, as for the 49ers, they are in the CB market, but do they want Rogers??? i pretty much know Washington wont get him and would be surprised if they re-signed him.
