Your blind nut hugging of Cam has you refusing to see the issues.

Cam has zero experience in an NFL style offense...we have an shortened offseason which will impact his development...we have a new coaching staff and system.

Cam has tons of potential, but is not likely to be ready. Now, rivera and team may be of the camp that says to play the kid early and see what you have. Or, they may be of the camp that says he is not ready and throwing him out there is not the way to go.

None of us know the answer at this time.

IF they were going to go with a vet early and then turn the reigns over to Cam at some time in the future (likely mid season), what better stop gap than someone who already knows Chud's system.

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

i am fine with the signing as long as he doesnt play, i have seen him and i dont like what i see. i personally want to start either Clausen or Cam Newton and have Anderson as the mentor, another coach.

Doesn't really matter. Just here to show the young guys the basics of ther NFL. Even if he isn't a good mentor there are plenty of questions he could answer for Cam, since he has been around the NFL so long. Worst case scenario he plays in an oh poo type of moment if cam gets hurt and jimmy still sucks.

Most people have different views on it. some like it because he knows the offense and that's a plus for me. Some like it because of how he played in Chud's offense (that's not me). Some people hate it because it's a waste of money (not me), some people dont like it because of IF he starts and that's me. i think he's a fine backup, but i dont want to see him start. he's a good 3rd QB to help teach the offense (IF Cam and Jimmy dont know it that well), but as a starter, he hasnt caught my eye since his one good year.

I much rather had Jake then Anderson, Rather had Bulger over both. Bulger has the most knowledge of all of them and Anderson has the least. TBH Anderson is not much of an upgrade to Matt Moore.

I also dont like the riff it put between Cam and Chud. Anderson is Chuds guy and could cause problems if he is ahead of Cam to start the season.
