Cam looked like the 2nd year pro and Jimmy looked like an UDFA pickup. I have nothing against Jimmy, but I was expecting more from him.

I didn't think so either. Each QB has strengths and technically each one has only been in this system a week. So in ways they are both rookies. Yet everyone is always in love with the new QB. We've seen it 1,000,00 times; Jake, Weinke, Moore etc. It is in the teams best interest for each player to be good/great. Second String is only a play away from being the starter; and with possibilities of injuries we need everyone to excel.

I don't think it is as much Jimmy looking bad as it is Cam looking good. Therefore, when Jimmy can't do some of the things Cam does (run well, make the deep throw, have the ability to see the field better, etc), it makes him seem worse in comparison. I thought he looked good in that video. Definitely a difference between he and Cam as pure passers though. Cam, to me, is just flat out better. Jimmy isn't terrible, but in comparison to Cam Newton, he looks worse than he actually is. Just my take on it, though. I'm pumped for Saturday.
