I taught John Kasay's kids to swim at Carmel Country club.

At the end of the sessions all the parents gave the teachers a gift, like 20 bucks to Best Buy or something like that.

Kasay gave me a bible.

Years earlier, I'd gone trick or treating in his neighborhood. Expecting a haul, I was given a bible.

What I'm trying to say is I have two bibles from John Kasay.

That was really nice. I really paid attention to the part where he said:

"Thank you for encouraging me when I failed. Thank you for the celebration when we won."

Those are humble words there, subtle but loud in my opinion.
