Based on the first preseason game, we are two years off of a super bowl championship.....I see excitement in armanti edwards, Cam Newtons success bleeds out amongst his team mates, steve smith is still here.... defense looks like its back on pace of what we recognize as panther defense ...give us mid season,...we will be something else!!!...."we commin"....

After watching the game looked to me that Cam had an average game. He had some nice passes and some bad ones. Looked to me that most of his completions were to wide open receivers tho. When he threw to a covered man it usually was incomplete.

After all these pages of claiming how TRD is right, you just now watched the game?

Jesus christ man.

LMBO...Ur right

All I've got to say is there are some very controlling folks in this world. Can't believe the level TRD is going to convince you Panther fans that you should share in his constant criticism and worrying over everything Cam does or doesn't do. Talk about wanting to keep a cloud over your heads because you got rid of his favorite QB.

It's clear that unlike the other QBs everything Cam does is intentionally being scrutinized and it's not because he went off the draftboard first.

All I've got to say is, if Andrew Luck had played like Cam on Saturday, a pretty clean game with very little mistakes, the attitude would have been different? No one would be harping on him throwing from his backfoot..Why, because he is who the media wanted.

It's Clear TRD is obsessed with hate over the Panthers having Cam and is looking for every negative thing he can find to back up his view and keep you distracted. It's clear he wants to make sure that no matter how well Cam plays, no matter how many games he wins for you fans, you will be too focused on pettiness to enjoy what is happening around you.

To be fair, TRD is not the only Panther "fan" with this type of sentiment, so I do think its good he's here so people can see these folks do exist in our fanbase. At the game on Saturday, up in 537 there was a Panther "fan" below us in a Beason jersey who stood up and clapped and cheered each time Cam was sacked and pretty much yelled "take that" "Cam sucks" everytime. When some younger fans stood up close to him and yelled to him "hey dude, chill out he's on our team, he's not the enemy, its preseason his first game" dude went into a tirade about how Cam is overrated and isnt a "pro style" QB like Clausen blah, blah, blah. While a minority at this point, there are Panther fans more obsessed with proving Cam was a mistake than they are with winning or enhancing our brand so to speak. So TRD does serve a purpose here, he shows how far we've come and what we dont want to go back to.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
