I think Gross's play was a result of lack of contact in practice. He even said a while back that it will take time to get used to the game speed once the games start. I don't know though, that right side has got some huge question marks if Otah flames out again this year.

JPP looked like Peppers with heart. When everyone else makes him look normal I'll worry about Gross. :)

I think that's what it was more so than Gross.. not like we game planned on him, and it looks like he's grown up over the offseason..

Gross has been crap since he lost weight a few years ago. Hes not the same player. 2012 Draft, we take Kahlils brother Matt.

actually there was an article running around at some point over the offseason or last year pointing out he was one of the best linemen and LT's in the league based on his play..

Bernardeau is pure crap. McKenzie Barnyarddoor. Otah needs to get his ass out there and Schwartz needs to heal up. Schwartz at RG and Otah at RT is the only combo that gives us a solid chance on that side this season. Maybe Ziemba down the road.

Everybody hurry up and PANIC!!!!! Omg... Really?

One pre-season game and all of the sudden a perennial pro-bowler is crap?!

Some of you really need to get lives outside of the huddle. This place is making people lose perspective on reality.

You're an idiot.

    • As the demand for apartments grows parking is becoming limited and it’s sad. I use to tailgate but I just park at uncc deck now and train in and head to rhino market. My tailgate grill hates me.
    • It simply depends on perspective. CMC, when healthy and on the field, has a higher YPC and YPR than LT. Yes, he's been injury prone, but this is simply a "all quarter-century team." There are certainly different stats and different lists. If this were a list or about a team simply based on longevity, then of course LT wins that every time, but some lists are more subjective and nuanced depending upon what they are, and it's not necessarily a reflection upon a person's ability to analyze sports.
    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
