Why the defense looks bad.

Line of scrimmage is the problem. You lose the battle inside it has a ripple effect.

Beason wouldn't get off OL blocks much better than Connor. Not having Hardy probably hurts more than Beason at this point. Norwood just gets overpowered and Fua got his ass handed to him last night too.

Yeah Hardy needs to get back, so does Otah.

Yeah, it's the DL (inside & outside). There was never any push against the Bengals, except when the Bengals ran a screen & burned us on it. Very weak & will continue to make the whole D look look high schoolers until the DL is fixed with some pocket crashers.

very disappointed with the defense. also, having beason out reminds me of how bad the steeler defense became when troy P was injured and out most of the season a year or two ago. it is amazing how one player can mean so much to the whole defense.

when chad henne and that other bengal rookie can torch us like this, i hate to see what seasoned vets are going to do to us this year.

we're in bad shape. i think i could have run for 100 yards last night against our team.

    • As the demand for apartments grows parking is becoming limited and it’s sad. I use to tailgate but I just park at uncc deck now and train in and head to rhino market. My tailgate grill hates me.
    • It simply depends on perspective. CMC, when healthy and on the field, has a higher YPC and YPR than LT. Yes, he's been injury prone, but this is simply a "all quarter-century team." There are certainly different stats and different lists. If this were a list or about a team simply based on longevity, then of course LT wins that every time, but some lists are more subjective and nuanced depending upon what they are, and it's not necessarily a reflection upon a person's ability to analyze sports.
    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
