Madden 12 is awful..

I quit playing video games when I was 12. When are you guys gonna grow up? o_O

If you stopped playing video games at 12, it's because you were either too poor to afford them, had no friends, or sucked so bad at them that they were no longer appealing. The $12,000,000,000 the industry makes annually doesn't come from 12 year olds bruh.

What's up with Newtons contract on Franchise mode...getting paid way more than he actually is..

That was put in before CBA was finished or the rookie wage scale was known. Franchise mode cap numbers, draft scale, etc won't be accurate in the game.

I've given up with Football games in general.. I got Madden 09 a couple years back and it was a good game when i was playing it but the bloated menus get really annoying and take way too long to load on my old ass xbox. A lot of the problems I have with the game (other than AI idiocy) were on the bloatedness front and the inability to skip the friggin pre-game poo. I just wanna play damn it.

Next one i bought full price was NCAA 11. Again, a good game, enjoyed playing dynasty mode and yet again the menus were bloated. the points where it'd save was annoyingly long and I dread having to simulate 4039280298 other teams' games every time i change weeks. Again, the entrance and stadium graphics don't really appeal to me and i hate not being able to skip them.

One of my biggest peeves about Madden/NCAA isn't the franchise/dynasty mode or the online gameplay. It's about the other modes they try to fit in there like superstar/road to glory. I happen to like these cuz it puts you into the shoes of 1 controllable player and only that one. The main problem i have is that you can NEVER catch a break. I had a game where i struggled to come back from a deficit, and when i did, my kicker(whom i can't control) missed the extra point to tie it and take it into overtime. There have been other times where everyone i face against seems to make 1 handed interceptions while jumping 20 ft into the air. jeeez we need some of those CBs on our team right about now.

But mannn i do enjoy playing the games(when i can).. i just wish they'd make the non-gameplay components simpler(seriously take that flash video poo out of the menus, you could use the extra space to make actual gameplay better)

I remember playing Madden 08 on PC, and while it used the really old engine, the menus and loading was so intact and easy. you could get into a game pretty quick and you could skip the retarded intro poo that i don't care for.

I do wish they'd let 2k back in. Competition is a good thing.

Superstar mode in Madden wasn't good until Madden 10. It took a step back in '11... it was ridiculously easy.

I've only played one game in Superstar mode in Madden 12. I always make a QB. I was drafted by the Packers... and starting ahead of Rodgers. :banghead:
