I cannot convey in words how thankful I am that we didn't go after this whining sack of crap. If you look at the way that Vick handled his incarceration and the way Plaxico handled his, you can see CLEARLY who is likely to end up back in there.

What an absolute waste of talent and a joke of a player. Literally shot himself in the foot and has the audacity to blame everybody but himself for his actions.

Well I understand what he's saying. But a football team is like a family and his dad Coughlin and brother Eli have pretty much shown that they don't give a *** about him. It ain't even about maturity or blame. Plax's feelings were hurt. The people he thought cared about him showed that they didn't.

Uhh.

No.

A Professional football team is a group of adult men who are paid, very well, to do a job. If you are an idiot, who was already disruptive in the locker room, then go out and break the law by carrying a loaded weapon in places it shouldn't be, seriously injure yourself, and pose a threat to the safety of others, what kind of "support" do you expect???

I'm so sick of this namby pamby expectation of coddling. You do stupid things, you deal with the consequences. Don't expect compassion from professionals when you cause a disruption to their team from your stupidity.

Wow...is that how u think? That jail is where some folks belong regardless of the actions. I now see why Ryan Leaf got ten years probation for all of bad deeds instead of some much deserved jail time. I guess no animals or humans were or had a chance to be hurt by his actions...sheesh...what era do we live in.

    • You do, the guy who doesn’t appear to grasp projection.  as the entire board knows, I do in fact, take positions.  The position here I have taken is that Bryce Young is a weak bottom tier starting QB, without NFL starting QB tools, that we must move on from.
    • The OP for one. Asserting that people blamed Bryce for the loss in the title of the thread. That was not the prevailing sentiment at the time this thread was created. Very much a minority thing, I don’t remember but maybe one person if that, putting it on Bryce as the main reason. Troll thread. Did a good job too. Look at the pages.  Someone counting up the draft picks as 10 on offense and 10 on defense or whatever the number was, today or yesterday - of which the offensive ones were heavily 1s and 2s and the defensive picks were heavily day 3 and declaring that proof that the offense wasn’t favored like people claim. The obvious neglect we watched for two years. I spent time refuting that bullshit because someone needed to.  People saying we are bad horrible people and hate poor lil Bryce for no reason, as if it is a personal thing. Constantly.   Along the same lines is people saying we non Bryce fans would rather lose than have him play well and the team wins. That we are mad when the team wins   Point illustrated.
