I don't see a whole lot of scheme change up. I think teams will continue to blitz Cam. Its going to be up to the OL and RBs to help him out and pick up the blitz. Unlike the Cards...The Packers can probably send 2 less guys and get the same amount of pressure.

Its going to be a totally different beast going against Woodson, Raji, Matthews, and company. We have to get some production out of the run game next week.

Come on folks. Think back.

We just came off a bye... One of our two games we won all season...

300 yards passing, 2 touchdowns. That's pretty good, IMO. Not saying it was anywhere near as good as Cam's - it wasn't - but I am still hesitant to be convinced we've now arrived on offense and will be unstoppable through the air because it was just one example of how a good performance in the air doesn't always mean a passing game will be great all year.

Packers will be able to shut down the run, pressure Cam, and defend the pass better than the Cardinals can... which is why it'll be such a test and it'll be good to see how Cam responds.

I guarantee the Packers #1 priority will be to make Cam repeat his performance by stuffing the run. The difference, as Unicar points out, is that they can do it with fewer people than the Cards in all likelihood.

Next week Cam can really make a statement... but even if he and the team struggle, I'm not going to stress much about it. But damn, I really hope he lights them up.

For a second there I too thought you lost it mav. I started thinking....maybe he was referring to 2009....but then I realized we sucked in 09 too! LOL.

And I agree with your concerns about the Packers. But that's actually got me excited. I wanna see how we stack up against these guys with Cam, this early in the season. If we can contend, and heck, pull out a W.....I think Panther fans are going to get a media treat like we have never had before for the remainder of this season.

The hype would be unprecedented and I'd seriously start to worry about Cam's growing experience. Because if we beat them, at that point you just have to throw caution to the wind and ride the wave. Everyone will treat him with a completely new set of expectations.

Honestly 2009 was a crazy year. In the last few games of the year we did have a good passing attack. Jake was a threat throughout 2009 - but unfortunately he was equally as big a threat to the Panthers as it was to the other team >.<

When it comes to our O-line, I don't think any amount of film viewing is going to fix our issues.

We simply need bigger, healthier and more dominant guys on that line. That's unfortunately the reality of it. At this point almost no price is too high for a solid trade.

Or I should say stronger, not necessarily bigger. We're just not getting that forward push we need for our running game.
