You mean other than stopping the run while the young guys learn? Maybe there's a benefit to keeping the LB's clean and hitting their gaps instead of having OL on them.

I think I understand what you're saying in principle, but there's no reason to sacrifise winning for the sake of learning on such a small scale. The young DT's will get plenty of reps, especially in just a four man rotation.

He was a beast before the labia injury, but they say he should be back to preinjury form now. Probably just a conditioning and strength issue. I'll feel very good if we bring him in.

Definately no need for a defensive end. That is one area we are good. Alex Brown is not a need. I say just bring in 2 big ol defensive tackles. Not too many great options but whatever.
