Endzone Celebrations = Lame

I couldn't agree less. Never been a fan of endzone celebrations with props (sharpies, cell phones, pom pom's), but some of the witty celebrations that you see bring great entertainment to the game.

When Smitty was "sword fighting" against the Bucs, or "rowed the boat" at the Vikings... I would challenge your Panther fanhood to tell me you were upset or embarassed to be a Panther fan at that time.

Smitty's endzone dances are some of the only old Panther clips still shown during various NFL shows, commercials, or montages to this day. We should be greatful the publicity Smitty's endzone dances have given the Panthers...

"Act like you've been there before... then punch em in the dick."

I disagree, I like TD celebrations. I look at it more as being entertaining than showboating, I say tomato you say tomahto. How do you feel about the full offense celebrations (bowling the football and the teammates fall over like pins)? That's the whole team, not one guy bring attention to himself.

GTFO Zod. Things were much better when TO, Ochocinco and Smitty were celebrating every week.

Yeah, and American Idol is the most watched show on television.

I may be in the minority, but that only tells me I am right.

:cheers2::biggrin:

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
