NFL 32 talks about Cam, and what the Panthers have done to bring him along.

NFL 32 also talks about the difference between Cam and The Golden Calf of Bristol, well not really, but it's a decent discussion. Cam's play last sunday, has given the Bronco fans hope. But guess what Bronco fans, The Golden Calf of Bristol is not Cam Newton.

Herms entertaining to watch lol

he's always 50/50 to me. sometimes he's totally fine, like in that first video. very good insight.

then there's those times he's as annoying as crap, like in that second one. dude just gets on stupid rants and won't shut up and keeps on saying the same phrase over and over.

i'm just anxious to see how he handles the champs this week and what happens after that. does capers show the league how to shut newton down or does cam show that he can help this team stand up against the best of them? we'll just have to wait and see.

      Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.

      They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.

      Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
