The Golden Calf of Bristol! The Golden Calf of Bristol!

OMG!!!! They are starting to scout early for The Golden Calf of Bristol!!!!! Draft The Golden Calf of Bristol next year!!!!!!!

lol

Joking aside, RadioKiller is right, before going down in fall pratice with knee ligament damage he was a lock to be a first team all sec and in the running for all american status. More of a reciever than a blocker, but we could use as many set of hands as possible. May drop to the 4th round but could go as high as the 2nd. If he is still there in the 4th, i would take a chance on him.

Yeah he'd definitely be a steal in the 4th. But the fact that we don't use a TE position that much (and especially not as a receiving TE, which CI is) most likely means he won't be drafted by us, like Kurb said.

And yes, Jason Watkins could also be a target. He really improved as the season went along.

watkins is the most likely target there.

we need Oline depth pretty bad...much more so than anything else on offense. watkins would be a second day pick.

harvin is going to be amazing, though. i wish we needed him. he's going to go pretty early. easily top to pick.

we don't need anymore TEs. we don't really need any receivers or RBs at all.

We need oline depth, Dline depth and depending on the peppers situation (a starter or a major rotation guy at de) We could also use a major guy at DT to help out Kemo and lewis. We need a CB for depth as well. Those are our big needs.

    • You must be one of these "one move away guys."
    • ESPN has a whole is just hot takes and the dumbest takes possible. That is why it sucks so badly. They intentionally drag everything down to a lightspeed retarded level so that it is unwatchable. No jounalism, no nuance, no in depth analysis....just idiot after idiot blabbering/shouting about some hot button issue that they really have no real strong opinions about until the camera is rolling.
    • Young is the overwhelming priority. We have ample time on them and it's far easier to pivot at WR than QB. Remember that 2026 is year 4 for Bryce. That is 5th year option decision time and also the prime time to attempt to regain resources if a pivot is made. The odds of gaining any assets in a trade afterwards plumment very rapidly(all this depending on performance, obviously). At the end of that cycle, now we are likely in a $45+ million territory for him to remain.  So that decision trumps all others by a mile when it comes to personnel.
