Kicker Market?

Well we deserve a better than average kicker.. we deserve a kicker that can actually do it all and not just a kickoff specialist. I mean mare has bounced around the league before coming here.. that should tell you something.

He's been on one more team than Kasay has.

Mare: 19 of 41 from 50+

Kasay: 40 of 75 from 50+

Mare broke Kasay's single season FGs made record (broken since Mare set the record in 1999)

Not having the 50+ yard range hurts. But so did wasting a roster spot on Rhys Lloyd. At least for this season, Mare's good outweighs his bad. Have you noticed our special teams can't tackle? Touchbacks are taking points off the opponents' score. Until our ST coverage steps up, I agree with the Mare signing.

So last year in Cleveland for the win, when Kasay missed a 50-53 yard FG to win, that was "clutch"? You guys are moronic, that kick was in one of the worst stadiums fro kicking, I mean Chicago isn't called the "Windy City" for nothing. Even the Bears who have Robie Gould who HAS a strong leg neglected to attempt 50+ yard FG attempts. You guys make soem of the most uninformed posts, and it's an embaressment to the fan base.

If half ya'll ran the team, Cam would not be the QB (fail), would've trade Smith for a 4th (fail), Goodson would be the #2 (fail), Blaine Gabbert, Marcell Dareus, Nick Fairley, or A.J. Green with J.C. at QB would've been your direction (fail). Point is none of "us" are qualified to make NFL Personnel decisions so sthu and be glad you're a fan of a team with a bright future.
