I received a text today stating the Panthers have offered a 6th round pick for LB Aaron Curry. If this deal gets done it will be the end of Thomas Davis here in Carolina. I am not posting rumors or speculation like I promised I would stop, but I was told defiantly today that the offer has been sent to Seattle.

For only a 6th round pick, I would take a chance that a change of scenery and a decent defensive minded coach can get production from a kid with his talent.

Why we want a terrible LB that couldn't make it Seattle here in Carolina is beyond me. Only reason people probably want him is because he went to WF and was a 1st round pick.

I say our backups and fill-ins for Davis and Beason are more than capable than Curry.

I'm all for it if its a 6th. He is actually a pretty good run defender which we desperately need. Also would help our ST. No brainier to me if they take it.
