All these people I know are slowly turning into Panther fans now because of Cam and the bright future when a year ago today they didn't give two poos about the Panthers. Mind you these are the types that were Panther fans when we made the playoffs in 08 and their teams didn't. I welcome new fans, but I gotta admit it irks me a little that these fans who didn't stick it through the thick and thin are just now hopping on.

is this such a monumental peeve of yours and affects your life so much you wish you could change it?

I hear u...I'm a NY Knick fan when it wasn't cool to admit it...Got to stick with ur team through thick and thin..

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!

      According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year.
