Perspective...

Perspective; the state of one's ideas, the facts known to one, etc., in having a meaningful interrelationship: You have to live here a few years to see local conditions in perspective.

Folks, its easy to emotionaly respond to todays game without THE REAL observation of why we are where we are.

Its not the coaching, not the offense, not the Rookies, not the defense.

Its the fact that we are a very young team, and learning on the go. In every game the young guys are seeing and learning from situations they have never been in.

With no offseason, without the ability of being able to learn the new scheme, everything is situational.

Even Cam Newton is learning, and he will have to, learn how to loose and prepare himself for the coming week.

No loss is easy, as it goes for us as fans, its even worse for those who were involved, had a chance, and yet seen it slip away.

We are a brand new team with a new identity, and an uphill battle ahead of us.

The schedule we were given is not one that any new coach would ask for. It going to be tough.

Just remember whats important is that week in and week out our team is learning and preparing themselves for something great. Its not about this season (ask payton manning), its about our future.

And our future is bright!

These feel good threads are getting worse than Probowler's posts.

There is NOTHING "feel good" about only winning 1 game this season...

Its just UNDERSTANDING why we are where we are. Its not friggen rocket science, and those who bitch and complain sound like ignorant 7 year olds who pick teams because they like the color of the jersey.

Our win's are coming, THEY ARE, but to sit around and and complain, whine, and cry about "why we are losing" when its no secret that we will struggle is just plain ignorant.

Take emotion out of it people. We still have pieces of the puzzle missing. When it comes together everyone will be screaming "i told you so".

Act like you know at least the very basics of football and show some class.

Amen AK. Cam had his worst performance yet, and it was still better than anything I expected from a rookie QB with a rookie HC and a new offensive scheme to learn with a shortened offseason. Every week we are being competitive, we just can't seem to put OT all together for 4 complete quarters. That will change. Did everyone forget we our short our starting DT, our all pro MLB, our stud OLB, our up and coming deep threat in Gettis, and our Starting RG... And throw in our starting RT in and out of games. The cards are stacked against this young team, and they're still playing close.

The wins will come.

I honestly dont think we're losing because we're young. Just because your young doesnt mean you can miss tackles, get juked by michael turner(WTF!?), be unable to bring down runningbacks even when 3 guys are on them, get barely any YAC, etc. The team frankly is soft, i've seen it, you've seen it. Their guys were running HARD, they WANTED it, and they got it. We were pedestrian, it felt like we were barely even trying to tackle for alot of the game, and the first guy pretty much always brought our guys down, frankly they weren't fighting as hard as the falcons. That's why we lost, plain and simple.

Hopefully the more you read your own feel good posts, it gives you more comfort in accepting the reality that this team should be winning.. And not accepting these moral, woulda, coulda, shoulda victories.

I dissagree... I have coached football for over 5 years, and you are so far off the mark, its not funny.

It has EVERYTHING to do about being young. But more than that its a new system, coaches, and schemes.

Our young players are overthinking, hesitating, and second guessing. It has everything to do with them not being confident and sure of what they are doing.

This is expected because they are young and did not have an offseason to learn the things that would have this team 10x's better than they are now.

This is why you see the hesitation, which causes jukes, and missed tackles..

It will come together, just takes time.

Be paitent.

    • Wow that’s actually really cool chatgpt can do that Although, as we know Arizona sat in soft zone the entire second half. So there was a lot of dinking and dunking, but that’s the right thing to do in that situation.  Week 1 pass chart doesn’t look bad. He pushes the ball downfield more than several other quarterbacks I’ve watched. For some reason the huddle thinks other quarterbacks are constantly throwing 60 yard bombs. That is absolutely not the case. Some quarterbacks aren’t taking any deep shots at all.
    • We keep referring to it as Over drafting him like he was really a first round draft pick. We traded up at the end of the first to get him in a deal with Buffalo so that we could grab him and get an extra year on his contract if needed. At the time that sounded like "If he really soars, we can get that fifth year extension automatically". It really probably meant, "We might need five years to really get him up to starting WR speed."  He was basically a second rounder with a potentially meaningless pick as well to pay for those rights. Still, I think that with him we are on the Kelvin Benjamin bubble right now... will he ever be more than just an athlete? Can he really learn to fight and compete for that ball? Can he learn professional routes? Can he handle the fame and more money than he's ever seen in his life? Can he handle all of the pressure a fanbase puts on him? Tough shoes to fill. Not sure I'd want to be in them. I hope he gets it all together soon. A lot, most draftees, can't. Good luck and God bless to the young man. He's got a lot of work to do in a very unforgiving workplace.
    • This is the #1 reason I defend Bryce. Everyone around him is learning on the job, including him. But hey in 3 years we could have a talented offense that grew up together.
