Peppers clue?

Recommended Posts

I was just surfing the new layout on the Panthers website and I notcied something interesting.

The Peppers jerseys are now a tad bit cheaper then all the others.

The Replica jersey for example- Peppers is 36 dollars below the rest of the players. NFL web sites tend to do this after a player has left or is leaving !!!

Haven't they been cheaper then the other jersey's since the sell a week or so after he announced he wanted to be traded. The pepper's jersey, Lucas jersey and some older player jersey's were all on sale a while back. I thought they just stayed cheaper.
that's what i remember. nothing new here.

It's supply and demand. Everyone thinks he is going to leave, so no one wants to buy his jersey, which causes a low demand. Even if there is no sign of him actually leaving. If the fans thinks he is leaving, they will not buy his jersey.

Oh, is that what it is??

Then I guess any day now we should start seeing buy one and get one free Delhomme jerseys.

I have a feeling that Delhomme jerseys have never been in large demand. (They don't have a huge stockpile sitting somewhere.)

I wish the jerseys didn't cost so much anyway. I'd like to buy every color Steve Smith jersey in all different quality categories (replica, authentic, etc.).

I'm obsessed.

Maybe if I had enough money I'd buy jerseys of the entire team?

They are cheap because no one in carolina really want to buy peppers stuff anymore. Because peppers ain't nothing but a whining little witch who wants out of of carolina but ain't doing nothing about. For a guy who wants out of carolina so bad he and his agent ain't trying very hard. People say jay cutler is a whiny baby. so is peppers.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
