Cam's performance.

Dalton isn't playing, but the way Ponder is playing he could make a case if he keeps it up through his entire game, but I'll be voting Cam no matter what the others do.

Ur right, the Bengals isn't playing this week. Even if Christian doesn't win, he's making a very strong statement. Any rookies who's putting up strong points against the packer, is holding his own.

BTW, is this the team u guys play next week? Oh my...Cam is going to have to put up 50 points to keep them from winning with ur defense. Their offense look pretty solid right now.

I think Cam put in an awesome performance today. He sure took of his Clark Kent clothes and played like Superman today. :)

He doesn't have to get 400 yards a game to play great. Cam should feel really good about getting the WIN, throwing very accurately, not throwing a pick and getting a really good QB rating .... 127.5.

He mixed it up out there very well with passing and running. It really looks like "the light has come on" for Cam. He played at a pretty high level today. Man, I hope he can keep this up. Hopefully he has a few more higher levels. He might. Never know with Cam.

I'm honestly not surprised anymore at all by the amazing things he's done. He's proven that he's beyond legit. I expect him to be great each game now and he delivers. He's seriously a once in a generation kind guy at the QB spot. He can do everything. I think without question in time he's gonna be seen as the Tom Brady and Peyton Manning of the NFL. He'll be right up there. The guy is an absolute superstar. It's extremely scary to think just how good he can be when he's 26 or 27. Insane he's just a 22 year old rookie.

The Panthers are gonna be scaring the **** out of the entire league for the next decade. I pinch myself every morning I wake up now... it's just so awesome he's on our team.

It's at least STARTING to look like the Panthers might have an ELITE quarterback ... right up there with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers. Cam was #4 in the NFL in passing yards before this game you know.

Other NFL teams have been in "QB poverty" for like 15 years. Like the Miami Dolphins. They'd kill to find the "next Dan Marino". They've been through about 20 QBs since Marino in the late 90s.

It looks like the Panthers are "QB rich" now. It's quite a luxury when your team has a legitimate elite QB. It makes life a lot easier for the coaching staff that's for sure. It makes the rest of the guys on the team play better too.

Cam had an excellent game, however, I dont agree with him calling his own number repeatedly in the redzone, that shows a lack of faith in the rest of the offense. also, I dont mind Cam scrambling to try and pick up a first down but that helicopter stunt was plain stupid, he wasnt going to get anything with it, he was too far away. very dangerous and he could have ended his season and career onthat play.

Actually, he would have made it. BTW, didn't Dan Marino do the same thing in the Superbowl? Cam needs to stop watching those QB highlights.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
